[* black] If it does, use the pull tab near the home button to peel the plastic film from the LCD before installing the new display in your iPhone.
+[* black] The new LCD and digitizer cables are not yet bent in shape. Notice the dashed lines on the original LCD cable that marks where it should bend. Bend the LCD cable softly at the line closest to the display. This makes sure the logic board can sit flat when reassembling in step 19.
