-[* black] Use the tip of a spudger to gently pry the hard drive thermal sensor connector away from its socket on the interconnect board. Make sure to only detach the connector and not the socket that is soldered to the interconnect board.
+[* icon_caution] ***This step is optional*** We suggest you ''don't'' remove this connector at all as it's tiny and extremely fragile, but instead remove the thermal sensor at the other end of the cable, as described in later steps.
