-[* icon_note] The fingerprint sensor cable connects the phone to the rear glass near the main camera. The cable is very short and should disconnect as the rear glass is removed.
-[* icon_caution] As you lift the glass, peek in to be sure the orange cable with a blue connector has disconnected.
-[* black] Use the opening picks to slice through any remaining adhesive and open the phone slightly.
-[* icon_caution] If the fingerprint sensor cable seems snagged or stays taut do not open the phone any further. Use the tip of a spudger to lift the connector and disconnect the sensor cable before proceeding.
-[* black] Remove the glass from the phone.
+[* icon_note] The fingerprint sensor, which is embedded in the back cover, connects to the motherboard by way of a short flex cable.
+[* icon_caution] Slowly lift the back cover from the left edge (as viewed from the back) and make sure the fingerprint sensor flex cable disconnects safely.
+ [* black] If not, use the point of a spudger to disconnect the cable by prying its connector straight up from the motherboard.
