[* black] Locate two small depressions in the keyboard fascia, just below either Ctrl key. Using a flat screwdriver, slide the fascia towards the hinges. It will slide about 3mm (0.1 inches). | |
- | [* black] This exposes five Philips screw heads, located in the key area. On a US keyboard they are found with the left-Ctrl, S, F, J, and up-arrow key holes. Remove them. |
- | [* black] The keyboard should now lift up. Disconnect the two ribbon cables and remove it. |
- | [* black] Reverse the steps to reinstall. |
