- | [* black] Unpick the white tabs from the top of the battery and pull gently and slowly as shown, |
- | [* black] If they snap (mine did) slowly pry the battery away from the metal midframe using a pick. Make sure you pry only on the side shown (buttons side). |
- | [* black] Use a pick or spudger to carefully lift up the square plug which connects the battery to the board. |
+ | [* black] Gently pull the square plug upwards to unplug the battery from the board. |
+ | [* black] Unpick the white tabs from the top of the battery and pull gently and slowly to remove. When both tapes come out the battery will be free. |
+ | [* black] If the white tapes snap, slowly pry the battery away from the metal midframe with a flat plastic tool. |
+ | [* black] Pry only on the side shown to avoid damaging the cable underneath the battery. |
