Introduction
There are 3 methods to repair a faulty left, right or page down switch in this device.
1) Buy a new Panasonic EVQ P0E07K tactile switch from a parts distributor. ege.g. Digikey, Farnell, Mouser, but beware. Be aware that the P&P which will beusually cost more than the highest costswitch. Try adding this to a larger purchase.
2) Its likely your left or right button stopped working, so you can desolder the page down (rear-middle) switch and use it to replace the faulty button. Be careful they melt easily!
3) Use a longer switch but file it down to the correct height. Be sure to get a switch with a low operating force. The fitted one is 0.74N. Larger forces create a big clunk!
This repair guide covers item 1 only.
