Introduction
If your Canary does not light up, this guide will show you how to replace the Infrared LED board.

In order to access the power connector, you need to remove the aluminum heatsink. The four screws holding the heatsink in also hold the LED board in. There is a separate set of four screws which keeps the frame containing the LEDs in and these are not connected to the motherboard. Once removing the heatsink, do not let the LED board dangle as the power connector wires are fragile.

The power connector located by the buzzer goes to two solder points on the top of the Infrared LED board. Be extra careful when removing the board as these wires are easily damaged and will require resoldering.
