Introduction
Work area should be lint free, clean and well lit.
1. Remove backing from the phone case by removing 4 screws visible from the back of the device.
2. Pry off lower portion of the back of the phone. This will reveal 2 more screws; remove them also.
3. Separate the front of the phone case from the back piece of the case.
4. Remove the body, which includes the motherboard, from the front of the case by carefully prying the side release tabs.
5. Lift the keypad (it flexes!) from the base by gently prying from the side release tabs. (The navigation ball may come loose at this point. Simply set aside with keypad).
6. Separate the display screen from the motherboard unit, carefully prying at the sides bordering the screen until all of the sides are freed.
7. Separate the primary connection (gold filament) from the panel which was located under the keypad which has now been removed.
8. Replace display screen and reverse directions to re-assemble.
