Introduction
The motherboard connects all the different components within the device. It's is rare that this will malfunction, but if it does it may cause a wide range of problems from not turning on at all to erratic behavior. The LCD display is also soldered directly, any other component connected to the motherboard, if you should need to replace that may malfunction as well.
