| Do the same with the other side of the bracket on top. And move on down the bottom of the bracket. The black bracket basically clips in at the top and the bottom. Once these are loosened, you can pull the entire thing up. |

| Remove the old ribbon by peeling it away, notated the direction and layout. Get the new ribbon, and line it up with the existing holes on the bracket with the ones on the ribbon. Use the shaft of a small screwdriver to push the ribbon into the bracket on the left so it hugs the contour of the bracket. |

| It is now ready to go into the screen assembly. You're going to want to carefully lift up the LCD and digitizer connectors and insert the bracket/ribbon combo. This is where it is situated in relation to the other connectors. |

| Make sure it is clipped in, insert the screw, and test! |

| NOTE: Many vendors online sell defective units, and these ribbons damage easily. When buying, buy a few because you may go through 3-4 before you get a good one. |
