Title
Xbox One Stereo Headset Speaker Replacement
Introduction
If either speaker in the headset stops playing sound, is much quieter than the other, or produces hissing and crackling noises, then it may be damaged or broken. Removing the broken speaker is fairly simple.
Installing a replacement, however, will require knowing how to splice wires together. Wire splicing requires wire strippers, soldering tools, and either heat shrink tubing or electrical tape. This guide will show you how to remove the existing speaker and indicate which wires need to be spliced.
