Introduction |
| 1.) Remove the outer case. To remove the outer case, open the battery/memory card door and remove the 6 screws with the PH00 screwdriver from your IFIXIT tool kit or a Philips 00 screwdriver. There will be two screws on the left and right sides and two on the bottom. | | | 2.) Once the case is un-screwed carefully take it off with the plastic opening tools in your IFIXIT tool kit. | | | 3.) Once the front cover is off, pull out the two silver side pieces on the left and right sides. | | | 4.) The next step is to remove the main back piece. It should easily lift off. | | | 5.) Slide out, bottom first, the button control circuit board and flip it over. | | | 6.) Use the tweezers and carefully pull out the ribbon connecting the circuit board to the motherboard. |
