This guide will walk you through replacing the batteries with higher quality ones - IF YOU CAN FIND THEM - I got Battery World to supply the green replacement batteries you see in this guide and they FAILED A FEW WEEKS AFTER. In the end, I simply hardwired a 3V power supply - not ideal and not without risk, but if you can trust your power supply not to shock you then I guess it's okay... (BUT: IF YOU MANAGE IN ANY WAY TO CONNECT YOUR BALLS TO 240V WHILE YOUR FEET ARE IN A METAL BATHTUB CONNECTED TO EARTH, DO NOT BLAME ME!!! I AM NOT SUGGESTING YOU DO THIS.) so far I have been using it this way for years without a hiccup. So, I'll leave this guide up for people that want to give it a try, but you have been warned. I am sick of companies building rechargeable shite that must be thrown out every two years. |
