| If your Kodak EasyShare (model M2008) is having issues with the battery door not closing securely, appears damaged or broken then use this guide replace the battery door. The battery door ensures that the battery is making contact to turn the camera on and off. A battery door that is broken or damaged will impact the camera turning on as well as causing the camera to loose power suddenly. Before reading this guide further, inspect the battery door for cracks/bends in the battery door, examine the quality of the latch and look to see if there is a build up of corrosion as all of these factors can inhibit the ability of the door to shut. Ensure that these are the causes of the issues with the camera and that is not coming from another area of the camera. Step 3 mentions the removal of six screws make sure that these are not lost as they are needed to reattach the device casing. |
