Follow this guide to remove or replace the loudspeaker in your Google Pixel 9a.
You might need to replace your loudspeaker if it sounds crackly, has static, or if there's no sound at all.
The gasket between the earpiece speaker and frame offers dust and water resistance, which may be compromised depending on the age and condition of your phone.
''You'll need replacement rear cover adhesives to complete this repair. You may also need replacement logic board thermal pads if they get damaged during removal.''
***Note:*** Any repair can compromise the water resistance of your phone. Retaining water resistance after the repair will dependdepends on how well you reapplyaccurately the back cover adhesivenew adhesives are applied and how clean the mating surfaces are.
