== Step 1: ==
* Locate screws on the backside of the controller.
Disclaimer: There may be a covered one under the manufacturer sticker. This model has a total of seven screws.
== == ==
Step 2: ==
* Remove all screws using a PH6 Phelps screwdriver. Remember: turn left to loosen and right to tighten.
* The screws in the top portion located between the triggers are longer than the rest of the screws.
== Step 3: ==
* Hold the controller between hands, and lift the back panel. It should come up easily, if met with resistance check for a missed screw on the back panel.
* Unattached buttons will be resting on the front panel shell.
== Step 4: ==
* Collect the buttons that are not secured to the panel.
* There should be ten pieces: the X, Y, A, B, the D-pad (the piece that looks like a plus sign), the view button (has two overlapping squares), the share button, the menu button (has three horizontal lines), the M button, and the microphone light.
* The M button also has a silicone bumper that will come out as well, it looks like a tiny funnel.
