Follow this guide to replace the wide, ultra-wide, or both rear cameras in your Google Pixel 8a.
Because the rear camera adhesive is pre-installed in the camera housing, you'll need to remove both cameras and get a new housing to replace either one of the cameras.
You might need to replace the rear cameras if they don't focus or stabilize properly, or if there is physical damage from a cracked or scratched lens.
''You'll need replacement back cover and flash unit adhesives, as well as a replacement rear camera housing to complete this repair.''
***Note:*** Any repair can compromise the water resistance of your phone. Retaining water resistance after the repair will depend on how well you reapply the back cover adhesive.
