Introduction
This is a replacement guide for a Frigidaire Garage Ready Top-Freezer (model number FFHT2022AW). This replacement guide includes a complete replacement of both the freezer door handle and any involved mount pieces.
Steps 1-3 and 7-9 are the necessary steps for replacing a damaged or broken freezer door handle.
Steps 4-6 are the necessary steps for replacing a mount that screws into the freezer door that the handle attaches to. A mount replacement is only necessary should it warp to the point of no longer connecting properly to the handle.
Both the mount and the screws that attach the handle to the freezer door use the same size Phillips head screwdriver head.
