Introduction
If your Grays field hockey stick, or any similar stick, is worn down- unravelled grip or a detached cap- use this guide to repair the handle of your field hockey stick.
The handle of a field hockey stick assists athletes in performing skills and effectively playing the sport through holding/handling the stick. A broken field hockey stick will interfere with the fundamental skills of the game and negatively affect performance.
Before using this guide, ensure your hands are clean and inspect the stick (curved end). Typically, any significant cracks or holes in the stick cannot be/are not worth repairing. Ensure that the rest of the stick is intact to make the repair worthwhile.
Step 6 requires you to handle superglue. Prepare to reattach the cap onto the stick handle and secure it in place using the glue.
