Introduction |
This device is the Alienware X51 R1. This replacement can be applied to allthe Alienware X51 R1, as well as the future models (R1,: the R2, or R3 for when the PC begins to freeze up, or shut down at random points (refer to the [link|https://www.ifixit.com/Wiki/Alienware_X51|Troubleshooting Guide|new_window=true] for more details). Some other reasons to replace the fan is to clean it or if it is damaged. Replacing the fan, which helps with cooling down the processor, is simple with easyeasily unscrewing of the fan. Be careful when unplugging cables as they arewill easily damageddamage if taken out without care. Make sure to keep track of screws and to not lose any. Try putting them in a small plastic bag to store. Overall, the replacement should be easy and simple and should be done in a short amount of time and will fix your PC when it begins to freeze. |
