This prevents frost buildup which could cause problems with the ice maker. | | If the Flapflap door failsmotor won't operate, as inthere will be one of two problems. If the flap door won't open orno ice will be dispensed and the ice may jam in the ice bucket. Conversely, if the flap door won't close, you will either have no ice dispensed if It stays closed, or yourthe ice maker may malfunction because of an ice/frost buildup if it sticks open. |
