Use this guide to replace the combination I/O (input/output (I/O) board in your Mac Studio (2023). | | | Four of the Mac Studio's ports are attached to the I/O board: | | | * USB‑A ports (2) | | * HDMI port | | * 3.5 mm headphone jack | | If any of these ports are broken, you'll need to replace the entire I/O board. | | | If you're having connection issues with your HDMI port, you can't connect devices to the USB ports, or your audio is fuzzy, one-sided, or nonexistent, it may be time to replace the I/O board. | | | ***Before starting this repair***, test your cables with a different device to make sure the issue is with one of the ports, and not the cables themselves. |
