Your foldable phone's screen is much softer and more delicate than harder glass screens of non-folding smartphones. If the protective film laminate on your screen is damaged or peeling, it might need replacement before it damages the screen underneath.
This guide shows replacing the display film using an alignment jig and a film roller. If you don't have these tools, the repair is still possible, but will require aligning the film by hand.
