****WARNING****. The phone part required before you start is a new screen AND body frame that has been machined together and comes as ONE! If you were able to some how find a part that is just a screen your repair will not last 3 days. Make sure you have the correct part before you start!

***This guide is written for the screen and frame assembly***. The assembly consists of the screen and frame together in one part. Be sure you have the right part before you begin the repair.
Before disassembling your device, completely discharge the battery. This reduces the risk of a fire if the battery is accidentally damaged during the repair. If your battery is swollen, [[What to do with a swollen battery|take appropriate precautions|new_window=true]].
Note: Retaining water resistance after the repair will depend on how well you reapply the back cover adhesive, but your device will lose its IP (Ingress Protection) rating.
