Introduction |
If the weather and excess weight limits have damaged your hammocks rope, this guide will provide you a way to securely hang your hammock with material that will last longer and withhold larger weight capacities. | | Using metal screw hooks and metal clasps, that support larger weight limits and are mounted in the tree, will allow you to get more use out of your hammock for a longer period of time. | | Before starting this project make sure your power drill is fully charged, this will allow you to get a deeper cleaner hole into each side of the tree without breaking drill bits or having any issues with inserting the screw hole into the tree. | | Also, you will want to make sure you find (2) trees that are at least 6-7ft apart to (or the appropriate distance of whatever size hammock you chose) to make sure the hammock sits up far enough from the ground. |
