Use this guide to remove the drum of your Whirlpool Duet WED87HED dryer.
Removing the drum gives you easy access to a bunch of parts including the thermal fuse, the heating element, the Hi-Limit thermostat, the thermal cutoff, the inlet and outlet thermistors, the belt, the drum rollers, the motor, and the idler pulley.
The hard part of removing the drum is getting it free from the drum rollers on the front bulkhead.
