Introduction
Use this guide to replace the Main Boardmain board a.k.a. Cycle Control Unit (CCU) on your Whirlpool WED87HED Dryer.
The Main Boardmain board is the "brain" of the dryer, when it fails the dryer will not operate at all, or will operate erratically.
You should wear an anti-static strap if possible or make sure to regularly touch the exposed metal parts of the dryer as you work.
