Conclusion
To insert your replacement micro SD, follow the previous steps in reverse order. (You may use the SD ribbon recommended or shop for your own, but a new micro SD card slot itself is required.)
When you connect the cables, DO NO PUSH. You must unclip the female ribbon connector in order to insert the male end.
Make sure that when you screw it all back in that you aren't missing any screws.
