Introduction
This guide shows you the process of reinstalling a C-Clamp style Sternum Strap on a Patagonia backpack.
Many Patagonia backpacks feature a removeable sternum strap, also known as a chest strap, designed to alleviate shoulder pressure and distribute weight more evenly across the chest.
This particular Sternum Strap is called a "C-Clamp" because the cross section of the clips is shaped like a "C".

This guide demonstrates how to reattach one specific style of Patagonia sternum strap - the c-clamp - named for its C-shaped cross-section. This style was used on some packs produced between 2009 and 2018.

***Replacement parts are currently unavailable***.
