Introduction |
If you have small holes in the toe or heel sections of your sock and wish to repair them over throwing them away, then this is the guide for you. There is no need to have any sewing experience at all and there is no specializedthe equipment neededdoesn't require a sewing machine, only a simple needle, and thread. Also, thread trimmers are displayed in this tutorial, though you will only need a regular pair of scissors. | | The material of the sock does not affect the repair. Be mindful that the thicker the sock fabric of the sock is, the longer the repair may take, but the instructions remain the same. | | | Also, note that this repair works best for small holes (up to one inch in diameter). You may use this technique for larger holes (over one inch in diameter) though be mindful that this technique will affect the fit of the sock the larger the hole is. |
