Introduction
The teasmade was only a few years old and although it heated the water, as required by the timer, the hot water did not flow in to the tea pot.
Access to the inner workings was gained by removing the numerous anti-tamper triangular head screws. Inspection showed that the temperature sensor was not properly located. After this had been moved, all worked well.
