This guide is written with the WiFi model iPad Pro. If your iPad is a different model, there will be minor visual discrepancies.
This guide uses photos where the display of the is iPad disconnected and fully removed. Fully removing the display isn't necessary to follow this guide, so there may be minor visual discrepancies. [guide|156048|Follow this guide|new_window=true] if you wish to fully remove the display.
Since the battery can't be disconnected directly after removing the display, ***completely discharge the battery*** until the iPad shuts itself off before attempting this repair.
