Title
Fast Fix D-pad Replacement
Introduction
Improper care and attention to a PlayStation 2 controller can wear down buttons and analog sticks. The D-pad is no exception to this and can ultimately become unusable and sticky to the point of repairs being required. Fortunately, D-pads can be easily replaced so you can get back to playing your favorite PlayStation 2 games. You'll need a cruciform screwdriver, a D-pad replacement, tweezers, and a can of compressed air, preferably electric, to minimize chemical residue.
Once the repair is done, make sure to store and clean often to reduce the chance of needing to replace again.
