These are basic steps for taking apart a TI BA II Plus financial calculator |
Steps1: |
Firstly on the back cover, remove the small sticky soft cushioning material covering the recess with the screws in it. 4 of them in total. Unscrew them. |
Step 2: |
Remove the battery cover by sliding it out. |
Step 3: |
Use a screwdriver to gently part the bottom and top cover at the hinge on the top. |
Step 4: |
Removing the back cover to reveal the foil, unscrew the 4 screws holding the foil and 4 other holding the printed circuit board to the front cover. |
Step 5: |
Remove the foil. Ensure all screws are off. |
Step 6: |
This must separate the front cover from the board. Remove the board and turn it over to view the front side with a soft black cushion cover over a smooth shinny mesh. |
Step 7: |
The keys should fall out of the front cover when you turn it over as well. |
Thats it!!! |
