| While both the wireless charging pad and the button cable are available as separate parts, it requires a certain amount of expertise to solder the connectors together without damaging the button cable. As such, I recommend purchasing a replacement part that includes the two pieces soldered together already. | | | Replacing this assembly can fix problems with the volume buttons being stuck or not working, the silent switch being non-functional, or the wireless charging working poorly or not at all. |
