Introduction
Use this guide to replace the left touchpad on your Steam Deck. The touchpad itself is part of a completelarger module, —including haptics, —and needs to be replaced as one unit. Although similar, the procedure for the right touchpad can be found [guide|148981|here|new_window=true].
Before you begin, completely ***power down and unplug all cables*** from your Steam Deck. Remember to follow general electrostatic discharge (ESD) safety procedures while repairing the device.
