Introduction
Use this guide to replace the back cover on your Steam Deck, or to remove it for further repairs.
Before you begin, completely ***power down and unplug all cables*** from your Steam Deck. Remember to follow general electrostatic discharge (ESD) safety procedures while repairing the device.
***Note:*** The back buttons (L4, R4, L5, and R5) are baked in to the back cover and cannot be separately removed.
