Introduction
If your internal battery has gone bad and needs to be replaced, follow this guide. Note that the Lenovo Thinkpad T560 has two batteries: an internal batter, and an external battery.
To remove the internal battery, you only need a Phillips #0 screwdriver and an iFixit opening tool. You use these tools to remove the backpanel. Afterwards, you simply disconnect the battery from the motherboard.
