Introduction |
| Please note that this guide applies to the original Unihertz Jelly/Jelly Pro phone, but NOT to Jelly 2. | | | Changing the battery for Jelly/Jelly Pro is easy, but finding the battery may not be. The following batteries are compatible: | | Manufacturer: Unihertz, Part No950mAh.: LBA 1509 | | | Manufacturer: Cameron Sino, 950mAh, Part No.: SCP-50LBPS , Replace for Kona S2150, CS-KYS215XL | | If not available, look for Kyocera Kona S2150 or S2151 batteries, to replace Part No.: SCP-50LBPS, or Part No.: 5AAXBT062GEA. For example, this battery is tested to compatible: | | | Manufacturer: Cameron Sino, 950mAh, CS-KYS215XL | | | These are 3.7 or 3.8 Volt 950 mAh batteries (Cameron Sino may have X-Longer logo printed on it). Orient the battery so that the terminals are located on top, +/- markings facing you. In this orientation, negative terminal MUST be leftmost (closest to the battery left side). This is very important as there are batteries of similar dimensions but reversed polarity. Be careful if you go after non-Unihertz battery! Check polarity/voltage. | | | The back cover of the phone is removable. There is a slot at the bottom corner of the back cover from which it can be pryed open.
