Introduction
When dismantling the Casio Casiowriter CW-16 the first step is to use a steel spludger to remove the plastic cover that is over the LCD.
Once removed the LCD assembly can be carefully prized up at the top edge and then dropped into the innards of the machine. Doning this prevents damage to the heat sealed flatflex cable.
Once this is done the four screws on the underside can be removed. Three are in the battery compartment.
