Introduction
Extended use of a controller may lead to the buttons wearing away and/or breaking. This guide will help teach you how to replace those buttons so you can continue to use and enjoy your controller.
If your Afterglow wired controller buttons or triggers are damaged use this guide to learn how to replace either the buttons or triggers.
Before using this guide make sure that the issue is with the controller buttons and not with the wired connection. Inspect the connection from the Afterglow controller to the Xbox One for any fraying in the line or damage with the connection ports(cracks, damaged port, broken plastic).
Step four of this guide should be read completely before beginning the step.
Before starting this guide disconnect the wire from the control.
