If your PlayStation VR Headset is experiencing location and movement difficulty, use this guide to remove and replace Infrared Range Finder found in the VR headset. Replacing this a faulty Infrared Range Finder can greatly improve usability. Confirm modelPlease confirm sensor part number prior to purchasing replacement components, as since they may vary. The part number should be printed on the sensor itself. It may be necessary to contact Sony for parts, as this sensor is difficult to find.

Please keep in mind that this method requires experience with soldering components directly to a circuit board.
