Introduction
This guide will tell you how to fix the OnePlus 6 or 6T alert slider from registering only 2 of the 3 positions.
The issue is that one of the sound modes of the OnePlus 6 or 6T does not get recognized by the software anymore. The device can only be set into two modes - either sound, vibrate, or silence - and the third one is not recognized.
The cause is the accumulation of dust in the slider. This prevents the slider from reaching (one of the two) outermost positions.
