Introduction
We all have had faced problems regarding electronic appliances in our house. Some get damaged while some just stop working. One of the most common problems that I have seen is with the pulling chain of ceiling fans. They do not issue a massive problem in daily life but can be annoying in a long run. Most people do not bother fixing this thinking it might be way too hard for them or it might come out to be expensive. But, fixing a broken ceiling fan pull chain is not that difficult.
Ceiling fan pull chain breaks have two different types:
# Chain breaks somewhere in the middle, outside the fan housing
** In this case, the chain can be fixed by adding an extension chain.
# Chain breaks inside the fan housing
** The chain will not be visible from the outside, so the fan housing must be opened to replace the chain or the pull chain switch itself.
This is a guide for replacing the pull chain switch.
