| The disc can contain information about a game, movie, etc. Having a disk stuck inside your PlayStation 5 can cause serious damage to the console and disk. If the disk is stuck and you try to remove it improperly, you can scratch the disc. This can cause you to lose stored information, and could cause the game to crash or freeze. The more serious issue with removing a disk improperly, is that you can damage the disk reader inside your PlayStation. This leads to you having to repair the problem yourself, or paying quite a bit of money for someone to fix it. |
