Introduction
This Fast Fix is needed to learn to repair a door hinge so that it saves time and money instead of calling maintenance. The required materials needed for this fix is screws, screwdriver, and a cabinet door hinge. There isn’t many hazards other than using sharp materials when replacing the hinge.
If your cabinet door is not closing or the hinge is messed up, use this guide to replace the hinge and screws in order for the cabinet to close properly.
Without the cabinet door hinge and screws being sturdy and not worn out, the cabinet could not close properly and could potentially completely come off.
Before using this guide, check the hinge to make sure the screws don’t need to just be screwed in a little tighter. Sometimes, the screws have just gotten loose and need to be tightened without replacing the hinge.
Step 3 requires you to completely remove the hinge and add a new one. From there you will need to attach and screw the new hinge in place.
Before beginning, make sure you have help in order to hold the cabinet and have someone to help screw in the screws.
