Introduction |
The side brushes of the Shark ION Robot R75 channel debris towards the main brush so that it can be collected. Over time, the brushes will wear out, with the bristles becoming more flat and spread out, deceasing their ability to sweep up debris. It is advised that you inspect the brushes to determine their health and whether or not they should be replaced.
While they do indeed perform an important role in the function of the R75, replacement of the side brushes is perhaps the easiest part to replace on the R75. As with all product maintenance, it is recommended that you first disconnect the battery before anything else. If you require assistance with battery removal, you can reference our battery replacement guide [guide|130508|here]. |
