Introduction
Removing the back cover of the DeWALT DW511 Hammer Drill allows for access to make wiring or control switch repairs. Symptoms of faulty wiring or a broken control switch would include intermittent, or no operation of the drill while the trigger is depressed. This requires removing three screws and using an opening tool to pop off the back cover. Before beginning, make sure the drill is unplugged to avoid risk of electrocution.
