Introduction
To replace the Digiland DL1168A battery you will need an opening tool. Be sure to be careful. The glue on the battery is sticky and hard to get off.
This is not a hard repair, but you will need an iFixit opening tool and a soldering iron (see Tools list).
Be safe while soldering: work on a fire-resistant surface in a well-ventilated area, wear fire-resistant clothes that cover your arms and legs, and use eye protection.
Work carefully, as the battery is held in place with strong glue that is difficult to get off.
