Introduction
This guide begins after removing the frame from the phone but does not require removing the front camera.
If primary functions of your ZTE Blade X Max are failing—failure to power on, multiple functions failing—you may have to replace your motherboard.
Be cautious when handling the motherboard. If damaged, the device could lose proper function.
This guide requires removing the back of the phone, which is not meant to be removed by the consumer. You will have to use heating products to complete this guide. If you are using the iFixit iOpener, or a heating pad, be sure to follow the instructions for that particular product.
